1. Estimate - it's free!
The most common way to create measurements for the estimate is to provide us with floor plans, cabinet drawings or sketches with dimensions. If you don't have these, we can guide you through the measuring process. We also need to know what kind of material you'd like. (Learn more HERE.) At this point, we can build a rough price estimate.
2. Complete the Checklist
Now is the time to visit our remnant yard or one of our preferred slab yards to select your material. We can't cut the stone until we have final decisions on items like sinks, faucets and cooktops. We've made a handy checklist to download and fill out.
The estimate will now be fine-tuned, so with a 50% deposit and a completed checklist, we'll add you to the schedule to ensure your countertops will be ready on time.
3. The Template
Measuring for your countertops on bare cabinetry is referred to as "templating". We perform this step and it cannot be completed properly without a completed checklist. It is also preferred that all appliances (cooktops, ranges, etc), sinks* and faucets are on-site. We need exact specifications of all of these things.
*Please note, apron/farm sinks must be INSTALLED before templating.
4. Fabrication & Installation
With our precision template and Zeus, our 5 axis CNC, we cut and polish your stone. Although we've invested in tools that ensure precision, we still heavily rely on the expertise and craftsmanship of our crew to make your stone is finished to perfection. Once fabrication is complete, our experienced team will install. Please visit our FAQ page for more about details of install day.
