Process

1) Estimation/ Design Consultation

The first step is to provide Braunbach with rough drawings, a floor plan, or cabinet drawings in order for us to assess your countertop needs. From there, a team member will help you select the countertop material, discuss sinks, review backsplash options, and select an edge profile. We do our best to provide same-day estimates. While we accept walk-ins, we prefer to schedule appointments for these consultations in order to make your visit as efficient as possible. Quartz (manmade) may be selected at our showroom in Fredericksburg . Natural stone may involve visiting one of our wholesalers in San Antonio or Austin to hand select the exact slabs.

2) Sign Contract & Pay Deposit

Once the contract is approved and the deposit has been pay, we place you on the schedule. Lead times vary based on the size of the project. Please contact our sales manager for current lead times.

3) Template (Field Measure)

Once the new cabinets have been installed (or the existing countertops have been removed, a technician will take precise field measurements using our Proliner. At this point, we will need to acquire all sinks for the project, faucet information and appliance specs. We recommend Facets here in Fredericksburg if you are looking for plumbing fixtures.
*Please note, apron/farm sinks must be INSTALLED before templating.

4) Production

With our precision template, we proceed with manufacturing our countertops using a combination of CNC fabrication and hand- detailing. Although we’ve invested in modern equipment and machinery to ensure the highest quality production possible, we still heavily rely on the expertise and craftsmanship of our crew to ensure your stone is finished to perfection. We also utilize a program called Slabsmith to ensure the movement or veins of your countertops line up at the seams.

5. Installation

Roughly 2 weeks after the template, we will install your beautiful new countertops. Our install crew has decades of experience working with granite & quartz and works hard to ensure the finished product meets our high quality standards.
